Portfolio Management Service (PMS)

Personalized Wealth Strategies

for Serious Investors ONLY

A professional service where an expert invests your money in stocks – and everything stays in your own account. You can see every rupee, every stock, every move

AT A GLANCE

What you need to know

What is PMS?

Like a personal fund manager - Just for you

In PMS, a qualified professional invests your money in stocks based on a clear plan you both agree on. Unlike a mutual fund, your stocks sit in your own account - not mixed with anyone else's money

You invest ₹50 lakh or more

This goes into a separate account opened in your name - not into any common pool

A Portfolio Manager invests it

They buy and sell stocks on your behalf, following the strategy you agreed to upfront

You see everything

Every stock bought, every stock sold - it shows in your own demat account, live

Monthly reports, always

You get a full statement every month - holdings, transactions, and portfolio value

PMS vs Mutual Fund

How is PMS different from a mutual fund?

Both invest your money in stocks - but the structure, control, and minimum are very different

Risks — read carefully

What can go wrong

PMS is not a fixed deposit. Your money is in stocks - and stocks go up and down. Here are the key risks. The full list is in each Portfolio Manager's Disclosure Document

Market risk

Your portfolio value can fall - sometimes a lot. In a bad year, you could lose a significant portion of your investment

No guaranteed returns

Nobody can promise you a fixed return. Anyone who guarantees returns on PMS is not being honest with you

Concentration risk

Focused strategies hold fewer stocks. If one company does badly, it can hurt your whole portfolio more than expected

Liquidity risk

Some stocks - especially mid and small cap - may be hard to sell quickly when markets are falling

Manager risk

The Portfolio Manager makes decisions. Those decisions can be wrong. Past track record does not guarantee future results

Tax risk

Tax rules can change. Gains from PMS are taxed in your hands. Consult your CA before investing

We are a distributor — we help you connect with a registered Portfolio Manager. The Portfolio Manager is a separate company that actually invests your money. We do not manage portfolios ourselves.

Yes, ₹50 lakh is the minimum. This is set by regulation and cannot be reduced under any circumstance. No exceptions.

Gains from PMS are taxed in your hands — like if you bought stocks directly. Short-term and long-term capital gains apply depending on how long each stock is held. Consult your Financial Advisor www.kaanakbothra.in for your specific situation.

No. PMS does not offer fixed or guaranteed returns. Returns depend entirely on market performance and the strategy chosen. Anyone promising fixed returns on PMS is misleading you.
